What We Collect

When you register for a septic reminder, we collect:

• Your property address (to find local pumpers in your area)
• Your email address (to send your reminder)
• Your phone number (optional, only if you request SMS reminders)
• Your last pump date and tank size (to calculate when your reminder should be sent)

When a pumping company registers, we collect their business name, contact information, and service area.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Calculate your next pump due date
• Send you a reminder email when your tank is coming due
• Connect you to local pumping companies when you request a quote
• Send SMS reminders if you have opted in (TCPA compliant)

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond the septic reminder service.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.

When you request a quote from a pumping company, we share only the information needed to fulfill that request (your name, address, and phone number) with that specific company.

Email Communications

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to deliver our emails. When you register, you will receive:

• A confirmation email when you first sign up
• One reminder email when your tank is coming due
• Follow-up reminders at 30 days and 7 days before your due date (if you haven't booked)

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

SMS Text Messages (TCPA Compliance)

We only send SMS reminders to phone numbers where you have explicitly checked the "Also send me text message reminders" box. By opting in, you consent to receive automated reminder text messages from PumpSchedule.

• Message frequency: 1-3 messages per reminder period (every 3-5 years)
• Message and data rates may apply
• To opt out: reply STOP to any text message

Cookies

We use a minimal session cookie for the homeowner dashboard (to keep you logged in after clicking a magic link). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your reminder registration until you request deletion. You can email hello@pumpschedule.com at any time to delete your account and all associated data.

Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database), which is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use magic link authentication (no passwords stored) to protect account access.
